At around 3 a.m. on August 25, the suspect, Raquelle Johnson, 32, and at least one other person entered a victim's room at the Potomac Inn, and demanded their property with a knife, police said.

Just after 10 a.m., officers observed a group of men fighting in the 13900 block of Richmond Highway, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Once officers took a closer look at the fight, they discovered that one of the men present was involved in an earlier robbery, officials said.

As Johnson fled the scene of the fight, a bystander tackled him to the ground and enabled officers to take him into custody, authorities reported.

Once Johnson was detained by bystanders and police, Johnson was charged with robbery, officials said.

Police said they found a knife on Johnson that matched the description of the knife shown during the robbery.

Later that same day, officers encountered Phillip Douglas, who they discovered was also in the robbery earlier in the morning, authorities said.

Douglas was also arrested for robbery, and both suspects were held without bond, law enforcement said.
